Buckwheat honey can be consumed directly, spread on bread, added to milk soups or dissolved in warm beverages (water, tea, milk or herbal infusion). However, the beverages should be cooled before adding honey. Do not mix honey with hot liquids, because it loses its valuable properties at high temperatures. In case of illness, you can use 1-2 tablespoons of buckwheat honey (or even more, if there are no side effects) 3 times a day. Prophylactically, it can be 1-2 tablespoons per day.
You can give buckwheat honey to children, starting with small amounts. Honey is a product recommended for children who are at least one year old.
Due to its significant acid content, buckwheat honey can be used in the production of mead.
Honey should be stored in cool and dry room.
